![]() Lightroom Classic now enables GPU acceleration for export operations so you can spend less time waiting for your finished photos. Lightroom now provides more control over how much of your hard drive is used for photo storage and allows you to purge the cache in order to free up space on your computer. Lightroom on the desktop now includes forward and back buttons which easily let you navigate through Lightroom, much like the forward/back buttons in a web browser. It is now possible to invert mask groups, which greatly simplifies targeting edits to particular parts of a photo. (ACR, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom Mac/Win, iOS, Android) This allows you to incorporate these powerful AI features into your batch editing workflow. The “Select Sky” and “Select Subject” masks, powered by Artificial Intelligence, can now be copied and pasted to other photos, and the masks will be recomputed automatically, with no need to manually apply the new masks to each photo. I reported the problem to Adobe on the User Forums.(ACR, Lightroom Mac/Win, Lightroom Classic) Re-installed 12.2 to confirm and the problem returned. I rolled back to 12.1 and the problem was solved. The entire Lightroom Cloud ecosystem has also been updated. There are a couple of extra features, as well as performance improvements, bug fixes and new camera / lens support. I confirmed both in LR Cloudy and LR on the Web that the photos to be synced have uploaded properly to the Cloud. Febru(Updated February 28, 2022) 21 Comments Lightroom Classic 11.2 has been released today. I tried a number of things to fix the problem including rebuilding with sync data. The photos to be synced are shown as downloading in Prefs>Lightroom Sync>Sync Activity. The folder where the synced photos are to be stored is created but shows 0 photos in the folder which never changes. When I turn sync on in Classic by clicking on the cloud icon, the number of photos to be synced briefly appears then disappears. ![]() As best I can tell, the issue began with the upgrade from 12.1 to 12.2. Today I discovered an issue with the syncing down from the Cloud to Classic. I shoot photos on the iPhone 13 Pro Max using the native iPhone camera app, then sync the photos to the Cloud using LR Mobile on the phone then sync them down to LR Classic on my desktop computer.
